The Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) system is an electronic public access service that allows users to obtain case and docket information. Registered PACER users can access Middle District of North Carolina District Court records 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for a nominal fee. The information reported is the most current available since it is retrieved from the court's live database.
The U.S. Party/Case Index is a national index for U.S. district, bankruptcy, and appellate courts. Using your PACER login and password, you may conduct nationwide searches to determine whether or not a party is involved in federal litigation.
For more information or to subscribe to PACER, visit the PACER Service Center at www.pacer.uscourts.gov or call (800) 676-6856. You can sign up for PACER using a convenient online registration process.
